YAKATTACK WIRING AND CONNECTIONS

THROUGH HULL PANEL CONNECTOR: The Through Hull Panel Connector is compatible with YakAttack and Nocqua Lithium Battery Kits. This kit provides the ability to run your power connection through the hull of your kayak/boat, hatch, or some type of battery box or container. For example, you could store a YakAttack/Nocqua battery on the inside of a Bonafide Kayaks DryPod or YakAtack BlackPak Pro and have a quick disconnect port for your power cable located on the outside. The Through Hull Panel Connector features a tethered cap that allows for quick connectivity of your device’s power cable when in use and creates a water tight seal with not in use. The tag end of the panel connector is 4” in length. For instillation a 5/8” hole is required and stainless steel hardware is included. GRIDLOC THROUGH HULL WIRING KIT: The YakAttack GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kit is perfect for popular removable fish finder pods on kayaks as well as other applications where wires are needed to be ran through the hull of a kayak or boat. It is also compatible with the GridLoc Mounting Platform featured on the BlackPak Pro, which opens up the possibilities for many more applications like using your BlackPak Pro as a battery box for your motor, actions cameras, etc. The installation does not require access to the backside of the install area, but does require a 1" hole. Included are 14 rubber inserts with common hole sizes ranging from 0.08” to 0.389” in diameter, 4 blank inserts, 2 nylon grommets, and 2 sets of hardware. If your install requires more than 1” of clearance to run wires or connectors the GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kit XL version (1.5” hole) of this product would be the best option. For a waterproof seal, marine sealant is required. This is an updated version of our original Through Hull Wiring Kit as compatibility with the GridLoc hole pattern was added to this new version. In addition we added 2 more blank inserts and 2 smaller 0.8" inserts for smaller wires.

GRIDLOCK THROUGH HULL WIRING KIT XL: The Through Hull XL Wiring Kit is a larger version of our standard through hull kit with a 1.5" hole designed around larger diameter components like couplers for live imagining transducers like the Garmin Livescope or bow-mounted trolling motors like the MotorGuide Xi3. It could also be used on popular removable fish finder pods on kayaks as well as other applications where wires are needed to be ran through the hull of a kayak or boat. It is compatible with the GridLoc Mounting Platform featured on the BlackPak Pro, which opens up the possibilities for many more applications like using your BlackPak Pro as a battery box for your motor, actions cameras, etc. The installation does not require access to the backside of the install area, but does require a 1.5" hole. Included are 12 rubber inserts with common hole sizes ranging from 0.217” to 0.550” in diameter, 4 blank inserts, 2 nylon grommets, and 2 sets of hardware. If you are installing wires smaller than 0.217” in diameter, our standard sized GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kit would be the best option. For a waterproof seal, marine sealant is required.
