Steelhead are in and people are catching a ton. Good reports are coming out from all of Chicagoland and the Indiana creeks and piers. Perch reports have also been good. Lots of perch are being caught down town on perch fly rigs, gulp minnows and various live bait options. Locally bass have been on fire. top water lures have been producing some large fish, as well as Texas rigging large plastic worms. Shiners have also been producing lots of numbers for the bass.
